The Ahrntal valley is home to four ski resorts with a total of 74 kilometres of slopes and each offers superlatives, such as the mountain railway with the largest height differential at Speikboden, the highest eight-seater gondola in South Tyrol at Klausberg and possibly the smartest and smallest ski resorts in Rein in Taufers/Riva di Tures and Weißenbach/Rio Bianco.
Especially for families and kids the four ski resorts are the right place to learn skiing. Perfectly prepared slopes, funparks and much more await you.
Ski resort Speikboden
Speikboden Bergbahnen is a snow-secure, familiarly skiing-area in Sand in Taufers/Campo Tures. It contains 8 lifts with a total transport performance of 12.140 persons/hour. About 80 hectares of slopes, a total of 38 kilometres have to offer enough liberty for everyone – from the summit (2,400 m altitude) to the valley (950 m altitude). Many alternations of the terrain and very wide slopes make happy beginners and professional skiers.
Ski resort Klausberg
As a ski area, Klausberg offers everything you need to turn an ordinary winter holiday into a one-of-a-kind adventure. The 8-person K2 gondola lift whisks you up to Klausberg Ski Area’s perfectly groomed runs, at an elevation of 2,510 metres. The ski area’s 33 km of blue, red and black runs offer plenty of fun, at varying levels of difficulty, for people of all ages. For the little ones and families Klausberg offers special attractions, like the Klausiland with its mascot, the Alpine Coaster Klausberg Flitzer or the Dino Fun-Line. Different mountain huts invite you to enjoy alpine and gourmet dishes.
Ski resort Rein in Taufers/Riva di Tures
The small, but wonderful and family-friendly ski resort in Rein in Taufers/Riva di Tures.
Ski resort Weißenbach/Rio Bianco
The "Family Skilift Weißenbach" is a highlight for the whole family. With its length of 350 meters, the skilift and the two pists are ideal to learn skiing.
