High-speed junkies, watch out!
Are you looking for a dare? Then you've come to the right place: the zipline awaits you! Start: Kristallalm Klausberg, finish: Almboden
The famous Alpine Coaster "Klausberg Flitzer", a summer toboggan run, which is unique to South Tyrol due to its length and steepness, has already made one or two break out in a cold sweat - the speed experience of 2 km at Klausberg, peppered with jumps and 360° spins.
In 1996, the ski lift "Glück" is converted into a four-seater chairlift with bubble. The name of this lift goes back to the beginnings of the Speikboden. Bernhard Glück was an entrepreneur from Munich, son of a South Tyrolean woman, patron, visionary and sponsor. At that time he significantly influenced the development of tourism in Sand in Taufers. This chairlift was named in his honor.
In just four and a half minutes, the Glück lift transports up to 1800 people an hour about 290 meters upwards. A total of two downhill runs, both of medium difficulty, are available for descent.
The "Family Skilift Weißenbach/Rio Bianco" is a highlight for the whole family. With its length of 350 meters, the skilift is ideal to learn skiing!
During the holidays opened every day:

Skiing in the early stages is followed by a ride on the "Seenock" four-seater chairlift, which opens up the slopes around the peaks of the “Nock”. On the three wide downhill runs, which are classified as medium and difficult, the view sweeps across the entire Ahrntal valley.
Shortly after the exit is the snowpark, meeting point for brave skiers who want to show off their acrobatic skills. The simple structures can be approached by everyone to try out the fun sport. The facility consists of a snowpark, a funline, a speedline and a slalom course and can be reached by the Seenock chairlift. The park is an ideal playground for experienced park riders as well as for beginners. Our shape crew makes sure every day that the snowpark is perfectly prepared and all elements remain in perfect condition.

The four-seater chairlift "Sonnklar" takes you up to the mountain ridge, reaching the highest point of the ski area Speikboden at 2400m. Directly at the exit of the lift there is an viewing tower with photo point: 360° panorama with 150 peaks and more than 80 three-thousanders. Enjoy the wonderful view on the Dolomites with the Tre Cime di Lavaredo/Drei Zinnen, on the Zillertaler Alps, on the Durreck-group. The descent on the slope from Sonnklar to the valley station is a thrilling experience, given the difference in height of 1,500 meters - the largest of all ski areas in South Tyrol.
In summer the top station of the chairlift is a popular starting point for many hikes. The summit cross Sonnklar can be reached in a few minutes - the Speikboden summit can be reached in about 40 minutes.
A "Tottomandl" describes in the South Tyrolean dialect an Alpine salamander. In the ski area Speikboden, the "Tottomandl" is impressive 220 meters long and its centerpiece is a 75-centimeter-wide conveyor belt that comfortably and safely negotiates a height difference of 43 meters.
A Plexiglas roof construction not only protects it from the elements, but really does help the entire conveyance system look like an oversized salamander. The conveyor belt can transport up to 1,500 people in an hour.
In the summer months of 2020, part of the conveyor was tunneled under to provide a better connection to the mountain station of the Speikboden cable car. From now on, an approximately 50m wide runway will lead over the conveyor belt. It certainly won't be boring underground, because there are plenty of native animals to admire on the illuminated track.
