Hiking in the Holiday area Ahrntal valley
80 peaks three thousand metre-plus, 850 km of hiking trails, 164 alpine huts in Ahrntal valley and Sand in Taufers/Campo Tures
Hiking is not just hiking. When people tie their hiking boots in the Ahrntal Valley, they will certainly find themselves in one of the most varied areas of the Alps.
Hiking means to live nature, physical activity, mental balance, relax, mobility, to come to peace, to enjoy the view and much more.
Beside the impressive view from the partly high alpine hiking trails, there is also a wonderful flora and fauna to discover, not to forget the abundance of water: gushing streams, blustering waterfalls, wonderful biotopes.
The Ahrntal valley is located in the heart of the Rieserferner-Ahrn Nature Park. So you absolutely should not miss a guided hike with which there is a great deal to learn about the secrets and beauty of this fascinating natural landscape. Additional thematic trails lead through all different elevations, such as the sunny Almenrunde (the Alpine Pasture Loop), which gourmets will especially enjoy - or the Hexensteig (Witch’s Trail), the Leonardiweg, or the Sunnsat – these are the sunny trails in the Ahrntal valley. And they deliver what they promise.
