The parade on August 15th in Sand in Taufers is a highlight of the summer and attracts numerous visitors to the picturesque village of Sand in Taufers every year. This day, dedicated to the Feast of the Assumption, combines religious traditions with vibrant customs, offering a unique glimpse into the cultural diversity of the region.

The cheese festival is many things: a cheese and gourmet market, a trade fair, a meeting of like-minded people. And it is undoubtedly an highlight. But none of this is enough to describe it. It is more of a feeling.

Every year in January the ski area Klausberg in Steinhaus/Cadipietra will become a large atelier where no restrictions are placed to the fantasy.

The famous “Sondna Stroßnkuchl” awaits you again: with delicious food, fun & games, music, crafts, a cheese stall, the farm dwarves and children's entertainment.

It's back to the stable with music for the well-rested and well-fed "Sprinzen" (local cattle breed), Black Pied, and Grey Cattle; the alpine summer is coming to an end.

The stamping of hooves will send a cold shiver down your spine. A wild mob dressed up with furs, long coats and horns on their traditional masks (Lorfn) are on their way.
