The Speikboden ski area offers a diverse range of activities that goes far beyond classic skiing. Sledding is a particular favorite among families—a sport that guarantees both bright smiles and a healthy dose of adrenaline.
The Runs at a Glance
What makes Speikboden special is the choice between two world-class runs, both easily accessible via the gondola. The starting point for both tours is located at the mountain station at 2,000 meters.
The Record-Breaking Run to Luttach: Boasting an impressive length of ten kilometers, it is known as the longest toboggan run in South Tyrol. The run is perfectly groomed and equipped with snowmaking facilities if needed, ensuring a smooth ride down to the valley.
The Weißenbach Variant: At eight kilometers long, this run is also very spacious. It shares the initial section with the first run before branching off towards Weißenbach after a few kilometers.
Comfort and Community
No matter which destination you choose, returning to the valley station is easy and convenient thanks to regular ski bus and public bus connections.
A special highlight for social butterflies is the weekly guided toboggan run. This guided tour focuses on group enjoyment and is an experience open to everyone.
