GSTC-certified: An important step on our journey

We are delighted that our destination has been certified according to the international sustainability criteria of the Global Sustainable Tourism Council (GSTC) and holds the South Tyrol Sustainability Label Level 3. 

The certification confirms the path we have taken and our ongoing commitment to the future-oriented development of our region. At the same time, it encourages us to take further bold steps together with all those involved: our goal is to preserve a valley fit for future generations, where both the people who live here and you as our guests can continue to experience and enjoy this place in its current form for many years to come. A place that uses its resources responsibly and preserves its distinctive characteristics for generations to come.

The requirements of the GSTC are based on four thematic areas of sustainability:

• Socio-economic: support for the local economy, fair working conditions and the protection of social structures
• Cultural: preservation of and support for local traditions, customs and cultural heritage
• Ecological: protection of the environment and natural resources through responsible management and environmentally-friendly practices
• Strategic: adequate management with solid and transparent objectives.
