9:00 PM: Night Tour of Taufers Castle
Online registration via the castle’s website is required. Please arrive on time. Discover Taufers Castle at night and explore more than twenty impressive rooms, accessible only as part of a guided tour. Highlights include the courtroom, the library, the chapel, the Knights’ Hall, the mysterious “Ghost Room,” the armoury, and the torture chamber. Particularly noteworthy are the historic furnishings, the rare collection of 16th-century student portraits, and the valuable late Gothic frescoes in the chapel.
