Piste touring

The following applies to all ski resorts in South Tyrol:

Ski touring pistes means ascent trails that have been precisely defined and prepared for ski touring by the operator.
Ascending via the ski slopes during operating hours is forbidden by law. This also excludes the edge of the piste, if not explicitly intended for use for this purpose by the operator, signposted and secured.
During ski slope operating hours, all winter sportsmen and women must comply with the advertised regulations of the relevant ski resort; this also applies to piste touring.
During ski slope preparation and maintenance times, access to the slopes is forbidden. Snow groomers and snow canons are in use. There is an acute risk to life due to the use of ski slope equipment with cable winches!
After the end of operating hours, even in the event of special evening regulations for piste tourers, the slopes are NOT illuminated and there is NO guarantee of rescue in the event of an emergency.
