We are under no illusions: as with every other company, a mountain railway company also produces CO2 emissions during operation. Skiworld Ahrntal does everything in its power to keep its emissions as low as possible with the clear aim of protecting the environment and preserving it for future generations. One way of doing this, for example, is to regularly measure our CO2 emissions and carry out measures to counteract them. Through the storage of any energy produced and its use for running the chalets and bars. Any new-build projects and technical lift overhauls are reviewed to ensure the highest environmental compatibility and only carried out if they are judged to be good. All direct and indirect participants are encouraged to implement environmental protection measures. Even if not every action is 100% sustainable, the awareness for and striving to do business in an environmentally-friendly way is part of our basic approach.

Do you want to contribute to keeping CO2 emissions as low as possible too? Then we recommend travelling here by public transport.
