Cutting the grass, milking the cows, processing the milk, tending the garden: on a farm there is a lot to do. The higher the farm is, the more difficult are the conditions in which the work has to be done. The accessibility, the steepness of the fields and ever-smaller families all have an impact on the daily activities. As farmers can no longer accomplish all of this hard work for a variety of reasons, the continuation of this natural way of life is under threat in South Tyrol. The Association of Voluntary Workers matches people with around 30 farms in need of assistance who are able to help to secure their existence.
This gives them the opportunity to step outside of their everyday lives and experience a different way of life. And help others in the process.

What do I need to bring with me?
You should be at least 18 years of age, physically fit, love nature, have good footwear and above all... have plenty of motivation!
What is offered?
Board, lodging in your own room and accident and liability insurance.
