A tradition for generations, especially in Mühlen: the traditional Kirchtag festival!
The volunteer fire brigade organizes a classic festival feast featuring roast chicken, delicious sausages, pretzels, beer, and wine, with live music to set the mood.
With great cheer, the "Kirchtagmichl" (a wooden mascot) is secured onto a huge tree trunk and raised from horizontal to vertical through joint efforts over several hours. Afterward, it’s time to celebrate—and stand guard! Because the young men from neighboring villages are eager to steal it...

3:00 PM: Raising of the Michl tree (Michlbaum)
4:30 PM: Musical entertainment with "Blechzinnen" from Toblach
6:00 PM: Official keg tapping
From 9:30 PM: Party vibe with the band "Brennholz"
Sunday:
11:00 AM: Traditional Kirchtag parade to the festival tent
11:30 AM: Concert by the Onach brass band and performance by the Luttach folk dance group
2:00 PM: Franz Posch and his "Innbrüggler"
5:30 PM: Dance music with "Die Woazgruiba"
6:00 PM: Raffle of the Michl tree and various non-cash prizes
Saturday and Sunday evening: DJ Mike at the "Tränke" bar
