Together for Cleaner Mountains!
Looking for a day outdoors that's both fun and meaningful? On Saturday, 19 September 2026, Consortium Zukunft Ahrntal, Protect Our Winters Italy, IDM South Tyrol, The Summit Foundation, and hiking guides Johannes Rudel and Marco Zema invite you to join the CleanUP Hike Ahrntal valley.
Together, we'll hike through the stunning mountain landscape between Kasern and Holy Spirit, collecting litter left behind along the trail. It's a simple but powerful way to protect our natural environment and show how everyone can make a positive contribution.
The two hiking guides will accompany the group throughout the hike, sharing fascinating insights into the Alpine environment. Afterwards, participants will take part in a recycling workshop, where the collected waste will be analysed and sorted correctly.
The day will end with a relaxed get-together featuring food and drinks – the perfect opportunity to connect, exchange ideas, and round off the day together.
