Petutschnig Hons has been hit – in the best possible way: he’s happy. Not because everything always runs smoothly. Quite the opposite. The robotic lawn mower won’t start, the coffee machine gearbox rattles louder than ever, and during the farm handover things explode like a thunderstorm.
But right in the middle of everyday madness – between farming, family chaos and leisure mishaps – Hons realizes that he has landed on the sunny side of life.
In his new show “Hons im Glück” (“Hons in Happiness”), the cult farmer from Schlatzing takes the audience on a wild ride through personal insights, rural realities and social challenges. He talks about what it means to take responsibility – for the farm, for the family and for oneself.
And he does it the way he always does: sharp-tongued, brilliantly witty and with his unmistakable mix of humor, depth and the smell of the barn.
Petutschnig Hons hits hard, but always with heart. “Hons im Glück” is a firework of cabaret, music and down-to-earth common sense – with one clear message: true happiness often grows exactly where the manure lies.
