On Friday, 7 August 2026, at the Stoanehaus in Molini di Tures. Start: 8:30 pm!
Joy Garrison, daughter of the legendary double bassist Jimmy Garrison, grew up at the heart of New York’s vibrant jazz scene. Gospel, blues, and soul shaped her voice from an early age. In a world where soul, passion, and emotion come together, the young singer found her musical home. Alongside greats such as Hank Jones, Barney Kessel, and Billy Hart, Joy Garrison made Manhattan’s most renowned clubs her stage.
Her connections eventually brought her to Europe, where she established herself as a jazz vocalist and sought-after session musician.
To this day, her passion lies in the powerful jazz of the 1940s and 1950s, its unmistakable elegance, and the emotional depth of legendary voices such as Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holiday, and Sarah Vaughan.
At the Stoanehaus, Joy Garrison will be accompanied by Stefano Raffaelli on piano, Flavio Zanon on double bass, and Roland Egger on drums.
