Particularities along the way: The Tobl canyon with its three impressive water falls, Castle Taufers which was built during the Middle Ages and is the landmark of the Taufer Ahrn Valley.

Path description:
From the Tourist Board office in Sand in Taufers, walk in a Easterly direction and cross the bridge to St. Moritzen. Turn right (near Hotel Alte Mühle) and walk along the left banks of the river (ortographically), cross another bridge to the right bank. Then take another bridge and turn left towards the hamlet of Winkel. Walk along the road to the car park for the Reinbach water falls (855 metres). Turn left into the forest (path number 2) until you come to the first Reinbach water fall. The roads leads upwards to the 2nd and the 3rd water fall. Cross the high bridge at the 3rd water fall and turn onto path number 2 in the direction of the Toblhof farmhouse (possibility of a snack at 1,054 metres). Cross the road and follow path number 2A, which leads you slightly descending to the Pircherhöfe (farmhouses). Then turn left through the forest until you come to a crossroads (descent to St. Moritzen). Turn right (keep following path number 2A) and walk to Castle Taufers and enjoy the panoramic views. Walk along a small path, passing the castle chapel (Schlosskreuzkapelle) until you are back in Sand in Taufers. Cross the bridge at the main road and walk towards the end of the village.
