Highlights Summer

Who comes to Steinhaus in the Ahrntal Valley in the period from the 18th to the 22nd of June, will think to be in a gigantic workshop of artists. Look at how the best sculptors from all over the world transform some inconspicuous tree trunks into beautiful works of art. This year the topic will be called: “Ahrntaler SonnenKinder” (“Children of the sun in the Ahrntal Valley”).

Wood carving has a long tradition in Ahrntal Valley/South Tyrol. This year the “international wooden sculptor symposium” will take place for the third time. The artists have to show their proficiency and have the chance to show their work and their sculptures to a large audience.
